Position Overview:
Lyros Technologies Private Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with at least 4 years of hands-on experience to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization’s DevOps practices and infrastructure. Your expertise in automation, continuous integration, and cloud technologies will contribute to streamlining our software development and deployment processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts, tools, and pipelines to facilitate seamless software development, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Streamline and optimize build, test, and release cycles to increase efficiency and reduce time to market.
  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including provisioning, monitoring, and scaling.
  • Implement and manage configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to ensure consistent and reliable infrastructure deployments.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure proper configuration and integration of applications within the infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to proactively identify performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other system issues.
  • Work closely with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices and standards in the DevOps process, including secure access controls, vulnerability scanning, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with security teams to conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster effective communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
  • Document and maintain infrastructure, deployment processes, and configuration management procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on DevOps best practices and tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Ruby.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, AWS ECS).
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, security practices, and system administration.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
